Exactly what is anti aging supposed to do? I noticed that players both aged and lost attributes?

If you protected them (and they did not retire) and if they lost attributes, those attributes would be restored.

Have those attributes been restored? It appears they four have lost attributes.....am I wrong? For example:
Julius Peppers WK15: 62 60 66 89 56 82 79 86 AA: 60 60 64 87 54 80 79 86
William Joseph WK15: 53 50 61 94 49 85 83 88 AA 50 48 60 93 47 83 83 88
Aging killed me in some places w/o this happening too! Could you check the four again?

I will double check but the 4 players who did not retire: G Stinchcomb DE Peppers DT Joseph LB Thurman All of these guys should have the same attributes (actuals and potentials) as last season.
The other 4 players retired and can be unretired with dice rolls but their attributes are diminished.
Anti-aging only protects the players who do not retire. That is why you need to adjust your rosters to move those old players in slot #1. If you have 3 DEs you want to keep, 2 of them are likely to retire since only one can occupy slot #1. But, I know one team protected 2 DE's who were in their 8th yr and neither retired so he was lucky.
In your case, you had 2 guards and 2 DTs which means the one in slot#2 was probably going to retire and they did. If you left WR Williams in slot #2, he was going to retire. Same with T Gross if he was left in slot #2.
Some of this is very predictable......what is not predictable is when you leave a player in slot #2. Its based on how old he is, players in years 10+ are likely to quit if they are not in slot #1. For instance, I had a CB Strait (9) who I kinda wanted to keep and protect but I had another CB Jones (7) who is better and I wanted to protect him too. So, do I risk the younger player in slot #2 to keep the older guy? I decided not to and let him go and as it turned out, he retired from the #2 slot.
Another way to look at all this is, one old player per position.

After looking at these players, they have NOT been restored. I will tell Charlie to fix them.
