This rule can be found in the Rules section on the forum. For any aspiring play makers, this one is important.

I am just the messenger, Charlie is the expert.
But it appears pass short passes is 0-10
Medium passes are up to 20...for primary and secondary receivers.

Yes it will. I believe Charlie and Jerry will be editing and working with you on your plays. I am surprised if this has not happened already.

Wow, they're going to have their hands full. This affects about half of all pass short plays.

In any case, it's a nice change, if only for the fact that it will make the medium/short distinction somewhat meaningful.

I believe one of our officers who did not participate in the playoffs as we did, has been editing for weeks!

Just to be clear on this, the first TWO receivers checked by the QB on short and medium passes must stay in the zone, and 3rd and 4th and 5th can have routes going outside it. I assume there is no such zone legislated for long pass plays?

Dean -- Washington

PS: I'll check the new stuff I created in the last few days but I think most if not almost all of those players are in compliance with this.

Hopefully, this clarifies it further. If not, just post the question.

In the Pass Short categories, only the Primary and Secondary receivers paths must stay within (not on, at, or beyond) 10-yards of the LOS, the zone. A third, fourth, or fifth receiver can have their pattern go longer. The latter three receivers must have "Look for Pass" logic before they touch 10-yards from the LOS, but their path can take them anywhere.

In the Pass Medium categories, only the Primary and Secondary receiver paths must stay within (not on, at, or beyond) 20-yards of the LOS, the zone. A third, fourth, or fifth receiver can have their pattern go longer. The latter three receivers must have "Look for Pass" logic before they touch 20-yards from the LOS, but their path can take them anywhere.

In the Pass Long category, all receivers must "Look for Pass" before (not on, at, or beyond) 30-yards of the LOS.

Starting next off-season, I will not accept more than 50 plays from any owner. This can be all offense, all defense, or any combination.

Super Bowl XXI - 2nd Place
Super Bowl XIX - 2nd Place
Super Bowl XIV - 2nd Place
