Re: Scoring by decades
This is why very small changes in player diversity are best. And Mitch makes a point, we have some very experienced coaches who should be able to manage a roster. Just because we have historically had some great coaches, does not automatically mean they must be the best GMs too. Even if you are a l...

Re: Scoring by decades
Be careful what you wish for. I personally like the smaller spreads in PNFL, and prefer to have those in the PCFL. Rich has mentioned this before and I think it's playing out in the PCFL. Teams that know how and put the effort into the GM side will rise to the top and stay there. There would be no ...

Re: Scoring by decades
Interesting trends. I wonder how much of a factor reducing the league size over the years to ensure a higher perce tage of teams are human owned impacts the scoring in the PNFL vs the PCFL scoring? Also, so shows that having more ratings variance in players potentially doesn't impact scoring as much...

Re: 2049 draft vs 2048 draft
Thanks for the comparison data.
What caught my attention during my initial review of the draft pool was the high percentage of attributes with MAX POTs for some positions. EX: 75% of WRs have MAX POTs for AC.

I plan to be back for 2049. I'll decide 2050 later.

Rushing Stats
Recently I've shared my concern about the low rushing stats in the league, especially yards per carry. Right now, 9 teams (50% of the league) have a yards per carry avg of 4.0 or less with 6 of those 9 teams at 3.8 or less. However, as I look at the individual rushing stats, 29 of our 30 top rushers...

Re: 2-DL Defensive play Poll
@James - I'm glad you brought up LBs and DEs outside the numbers. I'd like to see it required for those positions lined up inside the numbers vs mysteriously coming off of the sideline on a sweep or rollout play. Also, if we don't move to unlimited use of 2-DL plays, please use a percentage easily m...

Re: 2-DL plays and EDGE players
I know there were reasons we cut back and limited the use of 2 DL plays several seasons ago. I can’t remember, what were the reasons? I bet Charlie remembers. And what’s changed since then? I’m not sure. One trend I do see is that our overall completion percentages are 51-63 this season. That’s not...

Re: 2-DL plays and EDGE players
I'm supportive of unlimited use of 2-DL plays in pass based defenses. However, I believe there are 4 options we can put in a poll for a vote: 1) unlimited use of 2-DL plays in PS, PM, PL and PRD categories 2) 50% max 2-DL plays in PS, PM, PL and PRD categories 3) 50% max 2-DL plays in PS and PM with...
