Moxs - I'm sure there will be some ratings you don't agree with on the Patriots. Ha!

FYI - I rank each player by position using the "AV" rating from the Pro Football Reference website. After ranking the players, I build out the attributes from my ratings generator Excel calculator based on the VPNFL scale.

Are you also willing to share your "ratings generator Excel calculator"? I'd be interested to see how that works.

As for the AV rating i am going to find out what i can. I think you are right they seem to have done the rating well.
It seems to be stats + intagibles (ie All-Pro, pro-bowls - Superbowls - Championships etc..
they say there is a break down in the "about section" but need to find the about section.
