Raven's Owner Introduction

Hello everyone,

I'm the new Raven's owner, Larry Rogers. I retired from Amtrak last year and am an avid football fan. I've been in central Florida since 2000 but plan to move back to my home state of Texas within the next year. I grew up a Cowboy's fan, but didn't think they would be a good team fit for the AFC West.

I was in a FBPro98 league, for a year or so, back in 1999 but it wasn't as complex as this one. That's the extent of my experience, so I fully anticipate the 2049 season will be spent learning the ropes. Much gratitude to Brian Jacobs, who spent an hour with me today, getting the game loaded.

You're all welcome to email me at larkarevan@att.net

Thanks,

Larry

Larry, you obviously have my email and can ask me any questions you have.
For the rest of you 17 coaches, Larry is "restricted" in trades for the time being.
Any deal you make with him will go through me until I am convinced he can handle himself.
So factor that in as you all try and grab his draft picks and players.

Welcome. If you want to be the Cowboys, push to be the Cowboys. We had Minnesota in the AFC West for many seasons and Dallas is arguably more "West."

I'm returning to the Chargers from my short hiatus as the Bills but I'm sensing these Chargers are likely going to be in the AFC East. Rich cares more about balance from a coaching perspective than matching the NFL precisely.

And there's always the chance James (PHILLY) or Dean (Atlanta) might be willing to return to the AFC which makes it possible for a conference swap. James has mentioned Oakland (who would ever want that trash heap but not happening with Vegas already in the league - he'd need to choose something else unless he and Neil agree on something) and Dean has been Tennessee or KC in the past.

Welcome to the league.

I would move for balance. Though if I have to switch teams, I have to think about it. I would even go to the AFC East. Maybe it will be the Jets so Rich could come back when I retire.

Let him be Baltimore for the season and see where we are at.
Jay was here just a season so before we start moving everyone, I'd like to see what we have.
And no James, I am never coaching again.
You build it, you win with it.
