That subject line is the most untrue statement I have ever typed.

The play pool is getting more stale by the season and is desperately in need of an infusion of effective, well-designed, and innovative new plays. Sure it's easier said than done, but it's needed now more than ever.

As the play pool becomes more stale, we get to a points where we are becoming more like a stock play league, with our "custom" plays used in everyone's fame plans, become our "stock" plays.

I strongly encourage everyone to make some effort to design and create some new plays. Revamp your old stuff that doesn't work as well anymore or just draw up completely new stuff. Test it extensively and it if works, send it in to Charlie as off-season plays or during the season each week.

Every play submitted was once a new play that had to compete against the already existing plays to make it into our game plans. Your next new play could become a play of the week on Charlie's scouting report and get used by everyone in the league.
